The Toy Factory’s 11th Annual LEGO Building Contest is here! From May 1–29, 2025, builders of all ages are invited to showcase their creativity for a chance to win LEGO sets and gift certificates. Whether you’re a young LEGO enthusiast or an experienced master builder, there’s a category for you!
In previous years, we’ve celebrated hundreds of incredible entries, filling our display windows and awarding over $1,000 in prizes. We can’t wait to see what you’ll build this year!
How to Enter
- Build your original LEGO creation at home.
- Complete the entry form online:
The entry form will open on May 1. - Drop off your original LEGO creation in-store between May 1–29.
Prizes
- Winners in each age category:
Ages 0–5, 6–9, 10–14, and 15+ (adults). - Prizes include LEGO sets and gift certificates!
Contest Rules
- Size Limit:
Maximum 10×10 inches and under 24 inches tall (baseplate recommended). - Translucent Piece Requirement:
Each creation must include at least one translucent LEGO piece (light can shine through it—any color, shape, or size).
Duplo creations are exempt and do not need a translucent piece. - No Loose Pieces:
All parts must be securely attached. - Age-Specific Builds:
No help between age groups. Kids build for kids, adults build for adults! - Special Pieces Disclaimer:
We recommend not including sentimental or irreplaceable pieces. While we do our best to keep your creations safe, accidents can happen.
Important Dates
- May 1–29: Entry drop-off and display.
- May 15–30: Public voting in-store.
- May 30: Judging by Toy Factory staff.
- June 1: Awards Ceremony at 1 PM.
- June 8: Prize-winning creations stay on display until this date.
- June 15: Last day to pick up creations.
Unclaimed entries will be donated.
